What are you contributing to when you donate to PASAN?

Support our work!

PASAN is the only community-based organization in Canada providing harm reduction, HIV/HCV prevention, education and support services exclusively to prisoners, ex-prisoners and their families.

We work with incarcerated people in federal and provincial correctional facilities in Ontario, and work in partnership with HIV/AIDS organizations and community health centres to support the reintegration of people upon their release from prisons.

Our Work and
Your Donation

All of PASAN’s work advances the human rights of all prisoners.

We advocate for the rights for imprisoned people to equivalent access to healthcare, treatment and resources. We challenge laws that unjustly criminalize and stigmatize HIV+ people, and we fight to ensure that prisoners have access to the same harm reduction tools and information that is widely available to communities outside of prisons.

Our systemic advocacy work is exclusively funded through individual donations—and we need your help!

While many of our programs are funded by grants from different levels of government, it is through the generous support of our donors that allow us to provide the critical programs and services we offer to incarcerated and formerly incarcerated people living with and at risk of HIV and Hep-C.

Your donation goes a long way:

$25
provides a weekly meal and transportation for an ex-prisoner to connect with their support worker at PASAN's offices in Toronto.

$100
provides ensures a person living with HIV will have money to meet immediate basic needs, such as transportation and food upon their release from prison.

$250
allows a PASAN staff member to travel to a corrections facility outside the GTA to conduct a workshop on HIV/HCV prevention and harm reduction.

$500
allows us to purchase and distribute winter and summer supplies

$1000
lets us mail one issue of Cell Count to subscribers living in prison—a crucial lifeline for prisoners that provides critical information and supports community-building.

All donations are tax deductible.

Thank you for supporting helping us further prison justice, prisoners health and human rights.
