What does it mean to support this work?

You can support our vision for a more just world by becoming a member. Your membership helps us: 

  • Continue to advocate for the rights of incarcerated people to equal access to healthcare, treatment and harm reduction resources;  

  • Challenge laws that unjustly criminalize and stigmatize people living with HIV+ and people who use drugs; and 

  • To fight for prisoners have access to the same harm reduction tools and information that is widely available to communities outside of prisons.

What does it mean to be a member? Who can become a member? What is involved?

Memberships are free, and administered on an annual basis (from April 1st to March 31st). Our As a member, you can:

  • Vote at the by-law changes at the Annual General Meeting
  • Vote to elect PASAN Board of Directors in the annual elections
  • Serve as a community member on a sub-committee of the Board
  • Stay up-to-date on PASAN events
  • Be connected to prison justice activism and networked with fellow allies and supporters

Please note: memberships are not renewed automatically and current members wishing to renew should contact us in April of each year. New members are always welcome.
