PASAN provides case management and programming in support of incarcerated and formerly incarcerated people who are living with, or are at risk of acquiring HIV and Hepatitis C, and people who use drugs.

Established in 2018, our Harm Reduction Program provides low-barrier and trauma-informed employment to Peer Outreach Workers with lived experience of incarceration, drug use, HIV and HCV.

The Harm Reduction Community Care project works to create a safer community in the Toronto downtown east side through the safe collection and disposal of discarded harm reduction supplies, including needles and other sharps.

The Community Engagement Program is a regular, drop-in program that provides a hot meal to clients the first three Mondays (1:30-3:30pm) of the month.

The Women’s Community program supports incarcerated and formerly incarcerated women living with or at risk of acquiring HIV and Hep C in Ontario.

In collaboration with AIDS Committee Toronto, the Black Coalition for AIDS Prevention, and Toronto People with AIDS Foundation and the Teresa Group, the POWER (Positive Women’s Empowerment and Leadership) Project is a community-building initiative developed by and for positive women.

Prioritizing an individualized, client-centered approach, the Hep-C In-reach Education and Support program supports people living with and at risk of acquiring Hep C. We meet clients where they’re at to support their well-being in non-judgemental and supportive ways.

The Provincial In-reach Education, Support and Advocacy program provides harm reduction, HIV and Hep-C education and support to prisoners in Ontario’s provincial institutions.

The Federal Program provides harm reduction, HIV and Hep C education and support to prisoners in Ontario’s federal institutions to ensure access to information, physical, emotional and spiritual support that improves the health and well-being for people who use drugs and those living with HIV/HCV.
