Positive Women’s Empowerment Leadership Project (POWER)

Description

In collaboration with AIDS Committee Toronto, the Black Coalition for AIDS Prevention, and Toronto People with AIDS Foundation and the Teresa Group, the POWER (Positive Women’s Empowerment and Leadership) Project is a community-building initiative developed by and for positive women. 

The project provides diverse, innovative education and practical support to women living with HIV in Toronto. 

Through POWER, we offer support and education programming on topics such as: 

• Self-advocacy
• Personal relationships
• Community leadership development
• Peer support
